Sell great food! You will enjoy....
Yes they ship Seafood.
Yes, order the shrimp and oyster on French dressed. Delicious, enough 4 2.
You may be able to placs an order for boxed snow crabs
A sack is about 35-40 pounds but you can purchase any amount you would like. Crawfish are just coming back in season. They are first come, first serve.
Not sure just make sure you ask if you see them cuz you don't want no Chinese crawfish
Live crawfish are $1.80 a pound and sacks run between 35-40 pounds.
No
Tuesday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Shrimp sandwich was good also bought some fresh trout.
have to try their fried food, but once I walk in and smell the boiled crawfish I can't help myself! Text me back to my childhood. Remember when castnet and dockside were the names and seafood. Now there's just castnet and they're still good as before.
pineapple Big Shot catfish on French with mayo and ketchup priceless
The female blue crabs are very good and the service and staff are great
Where the locals come for great seafood and awesome po boys!
The staff is always in a great mood, very friendly. If you don't know your way in town ask one of the employees they can point you to the best chill spots. We always stop by for the great prices on crawfish or some tasty 😋 po-boys. If you're headed to the parade order early pick up and just reheat your goodies in one of those chafing dish buffet for the kids later.
Casual place for takeaway seafood fare, including po’ boy sandwiches. Shared building with a few other restaurants, including Walker’s BBQ. Pricing is very reasonable. (February 2019)
This is my favorite seafood place. They always have fresh, well-priced seafood and professional service. They have a great system for taking orders even when there's a big crowd. Highly recommended.
This place is always busy and is always crowded and the food is excellent it is worth the wait the workers are very patient with the customers and to make sure they fill their order they make you feel at home
The food is not as good as it used to be in the nineties. The prices have gone up, but the quality of the food has not. The shrimp are always rubbery, and the fish on the seafood plate is not Louisiana raised. For some reason, they are always packed. I pass them by.
Always consistently good and busy. Must stop on every visit home. See old friends.
Seafood like no other 25+ yrs still the same.
Always crowded but great friendly staff that can handle any lent friday rush ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Castnet Seafood is seriously underrated in my opinion. It’s a 30 minute drive for me, so I’m not able to get here as often as I’d like. But it’s a treat every time I visit. The shrimp poboy is the best in New Orleans, hands down! It’s full of perfectly fried, well seasoned shrimp. The poboy is so good that I always seem to forget that I have fries also lol. I like to arrive prior to 11am to ensure a parking spot, a seat and that I beat the crowd. While I mainly eat the shrimp, I have tasted the catfish and it’s delicious as well. The owner is very present and on every visit he has come over to ask how everything is. Give it a try...I cannot recommend this place enough!
Great customer service and the food (cooked and raw) is amazing...... But something gets lost in transition about half of the time i go in to get raw fish. I always ask and reiterate that my fish be cut a certain way (in 3 pieces, only in 3 pieces) I'll even show where i would like it cut, but i get my pieces cut as 2-3" steaks. Now, keep in mind that these are 15 -18 inch fish I'm talking about. Besides that they're all aces, just that one Damn 6 of clubs messing it up!
This place is a main stay in New Orleans East they have the Best seafood in town.I live out of town but each time I am in town I make my way to this place. Raw seafood as well as prepared stuff. Great place you should try it.
We really enjoyed our food!
This is the Catfish poor boy and we also ordered the shrimp poor boy. Both were were good. But the shrimp had more flavor. We opted to have it dressed but wish it had more mayo.. well really spicy mayo would have been perfect.
Seafood is off da flickin chain especially oysters fried just rite
Never Disappointing! Been coming for years! Had catfish on Toast and fries!..Wish I had room for more but I'm stuffed!
Tucked away from all the tourist traps is Castnet. I think I came on a less busy day which was still very lively with people. It was my first time so it was overwhelming for me with the huge selection but once I got in the swing of the fast lines and even faster talk, I was able get what I needed. The energy definitely reminds me of an open air fish market. Also if you need to take fresh seafood with you on the road, they have you covered!
Always respectful fast service
Omg my first time here I had 1 pound of crawfish and wanted more after that those things was the truth & guess what I brought 6 pounds to go back to texas with. Stop by check them out. You'll love it
Good quality seafood. Quality service
I’m from GA- On the way home from Mardi Gras we decided to stop at Castnet Seafood. OMG So good!!!Kent was Super helpful. Great Food Great Customer Service‼ï¸
Crawfish was good I didn't like the roast beef sandwich I brought but everything else was good
Really Pricey good seafood. One of the best hole-in-wall seafood spots in the city. I'm surprised that seafood is that pricey in NOLA.
Always fresh
Another one of the New Orleans Staples great food great customer service and a wonderful place
Best seafood you ever want, always hot and fresh.
Can't really give a accurate review as the three times we tried to go there they were either already closed (5:30 pm Saturday) or getting ready to close. The food sure Smelled Good though!!!!
First time visiting. My friends and I got the Hot Sausage and Shrimp Po-Boy loaves. So good and worth every bit. I'm not from the East originally, so I never had a reason to go. You can bet this will be a stop on all my future trips!
The Best Seafood in New OrleansHands DownKent is the Seafood King !!!!
Completely and utterly disappointed the seafood COLD AS ICE. I’m truly upset that this is the way you guys allow to come out to your customers I will never order from this establishment again
Great deal...plentiful...shrimp boil...Crawfish
It's a place to visit if you love seafood and more bring someone special and enjoy
Fresh seafood right out of the water and off the boat into the market and reasonably priced as well.
The crawfish and the poboy tasted great and the prices were reasonable. This is a laid back local joint. Check them out!
Great fish market and take out restaurant. Worth the trip to get there.
Fantastic, my family was in for a wedding from California and Florida. They were super impressed with the food and hospitality. It was also nice they knew me from previous visits. All around it was good reviews. Thank you Castnet
The service was great. There were more than 10 people before me and they were quick to get to my number. I only had crawfish. They had flavor and weren't too spicy like I like them.
BEST BOILED SEAFOOD IN THE CITY.
The best seafood in NEW ORLEANS
Best place to get live crawfish already cleaned and ready to go in the pot
I’m a visitor to New Orleans about four times yearly, a must every time! Wish they were open on Sundays and a little later during DST
My favorite Seafood house I love the EVERYTHING!! 💙
Their crawfish is consistent and its pretty close to where I stay. It's my go-to spot. They also sell fresh seafood too if you prefer cooking at home. The workers and even the patrons there are friendly. Even when it's busy, I don't seem to feel rushed when placing my order. Any of their poboys are good. Their fried softshell crab is worth the price and the potato salad is my favorite
It is a bit confusing to figure it out at first, but the other customers and staff are very helpful. The menu orders are to the right, the boiled seafood and market/takeout orders to the right, and the seating area is to the far right through another doorway. The place was very busy, but the food was good. we ordered fried catfish filets, fries, 5 pounds of crawfish and 4 dozen oysters. The food came out quickly once we ordered and we took it to the dining room. Everything was good; though we enjoyed the regular crawfish a bit more than the selects. I think it had to do with the boil seasoning was a bit better on the regulars, though the selects were definitely bigger.
The best seafood in new Orleans.. Thanks
Great place to eat. shrimp Po-Boys over stuffed fish plates over stuffed everything seems to be fresh off the boat. they do their own fishing.
